    Hey...

I got a creative (zen microphoto) yesterday, installed the software and tried to load some music to it... But when I plug it in and try to load music, whatever program I use tells me that my mp3 isn't connected.. There isn't a problem with the wire because the player turns on when I plug it in and I have XP... So I've no idea whats going on...

    Any ideas??? Thanks...

And of course; I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software millions of times too...

    Dr.Louis,
This is strange, did you load the software before you pluged in the player?

XP should 'see' the player. If not I would reset the player (check how to do this in your manual). If that does not work reload the the firmware.

If this does not work ring creative.

    Hi,

Are you using the USB port on the front of your computer?

If so, try the ports on the back as the front ones might not have enough power
    to run the player.

The player has its own power source.
