    'Contoured' refers to the shape of the body. The body of the guitar is most likely curved for a snug fit against the player's body. And I presume you know that 'maple' is the wood the guitar body is made of.

    It seems to have a carved top and back, so I guess that's the contouring they refer to. Usually "contouring" is just slight sloping for your stomach or elbow, like on a strat. Generally people say "carved top" when they mean it has a carved top. :)

    Maple is a pretty common wood for a hollow or semi-hollow guitar. That looks pretty much like a clone of a Gibson ES335.
