    Hey!
I have at the moment a bid in for a GIGABYTE GA-8S655FX motherboard for a Intel Pentium 4 3.20EGHz 1MB 800MHz ( Prescott ) 478-pin and want to know would this board get the best from this chip or should i hold off and wait for the Abit IC7 Pentium 4 Socket 478?
Advice needed as bids end shortly!

Performance wise they are almost identical the Abit board I think is based on the i875P chipset so it is a tiny bit faster but were talking 1% here.

The only thing you need to watch out for is CPU support Gigabyte say the GA-8S655FX rev1.1 supports the Prescott series the rev1.0 do not.
