CDWOW & Oblivion....

I've decided to order my long waited oblivion copy from CDWOW.ie few weeks ago...
Damn... still not dispatched!!!
Funny thing is that the game is shown as avaiable now on the website.
I've contacted customer service but of course I've got back only the usual amount of lies... like we have experienced a delay for this product blah blah blah

This is of course my first and last order on their stupid website...

i've never had a problem gettin games from cdwow - BUT they never actual show on their website whether they have games in stock or not - now i just order from play.com who are usually very fast to ship out even if they're credit card approval section is lousy i'd still recommend them over cdwow (hmm apparently they are under the same umbrella company!)

You're right it doesn't say the item is available...

anyway I'll do the same and I'll go back to play.com....

I had a couple of emails with the cdwow customer serivice and they really pissed me off :mad:

Everytime a game comes out you here the same thing from people using CD WOW, why do you keep using it?!

I had a voucher I wanted to use Even though it was only €1, it worked out ~€10 euro cheaper to buy from CDWOW than Play, and almost €20 euro cheaper than Virgin (€75, shame on you!)

Mine isnt out either for 360.I just went ahead and bought it for pc.Ill sell that on Ebay then when I get the 360 version

This is what I've got from customer services

"If you would like to cancel an order before dispatch, all you need to do is contact us with the order number and title of the item you would like to cancel and we will gladly assist you upon receipt of your e-mail.
The majority of refunds are normally processed well within 24 hours although WorldPay kindly ask to allow up to 5 working days for the credit to show back in your account."

had the same trouble a few weeks back with a pre-order of G.R.A.W :mad:

it was my first pre-order with them and the last but i'v had no trouble with getting games off them that are already out and will keep on buying from them as there prices are great ( up to a €20 saving on some games :eek: ) .

Looks like you cancelled at the wrong time, mine was posted today.
Takes them a week or so though to get here.
Next pre-order def going with Play again.

Well something favourable for CDWOW,

Received it today, but it was a wireless one
Granted it was Asian with no English instructions anywhere, but with the £5 voucher from the Mirror and that mistake, I got it for approx ~€20.
They are about €50 in the shops so thats a v.nice saving!

Slightly OT, but Oblivion arrived today from Play (after being shipped last Wednesday).... bye bye any successful college work.
