    Folks,
I was shooting at a concert a while ago, and I'm wondering whether this photo should be in the final set of images. It's one of the more "arty" shots.
Is it a keeper or what? Full view definitely needed.

    Cheers,
    S.

Oh cool, cheers. I wasn't sure if the shadow on the face and hair was a good thing or bad thing...

It's a good shot, a keeper, but it wouldn't be a good 'gig photo' because it lacks any definition of who it is. Still nice one!

I could be gone mad from using medium format and then cropping my digitals into squares...but would a square crop suit it?

I want to keep the guitar and light in either side of the shot though :)
I'm starting to lean towards stranger shapes of images, rather than the standard 2:3 ratio.

    I like it.
I like the light shining on and through the hair, contrasting with the shadow.
And the tilt of the head.
It shows an artist in full glare of the spotlights, but fully immersed in his own world.
    Nice.

As a photo goes, it's good, but may I ask who the band were? or better still what sort of music they play. If they are a flamenco band for example, then this doesnt really capture that. But as I've said, it's good, but does it reflect there style?

good pic, but the background is a little distracting for me, maybe a closer crop with that light source removed from the right hand side would be better, just a thought.

They're ahem, "Psychedelic / Folk Rock / Country". By looking at that image, you'd expect them to be rock though, but hey.
    Thanks for the feedback.
