Wanted: Field Service Engineer (south east)

    The position is for a Field Service Engineer with a well established company based in the the south Leinster and Munster region covering Wexford, Waterford, Tipperary and Cork primarily.

    Ideal candidates should have a minimum of three years experience in a technical role.

    Required skills:
    • Motivated, excellent communication & customer facing skills.
    • Server hardware
    • Active Directory 2000/2003
    • Exchange 5.5/2000/2003
    • SBS2000/2003
    • Citrix, qualification an advantage
    • Cisco configuration and maintenance, qualification an advantage
    • Knowledge of LAN/WAN/wireless technologies
    • Firewall Technology & VPNs
    • Knowledge of Back-up Solutions
    • Familiar with Anti Virus solutions, installation and maintenance
    • MCSE or MCP qualifications desirable
    • Excellent knowledge of MS windows systems
    • Outstanding troubleshooting skills with methodical and logical approach to problem solving
    • Project management experience an advantage
    • 21 CFR Part 11 experience desirable but not essential.

    In addition to field service work, there will be opportunities to work for extended periods on larger customer sites also.
