Okay I posted some of this on the LC section but got no help there.

I'm doing my Irish Oral tomorow and really need help. It's my worst subject!

I have to read a sliocht tomorow or tuesday morning and I've no idea how to say these outloud:

    1878
    19 u haois deag
    22 of April 1988

Also, what do theses questions mean?

An ndeanann tu do chuid staidear go rialta?
An gceapeann tu go bhuil an iomaraca bru ar dheagoriri na linne seo?
An raibh tu thar lear riamh?
An bhuil se costasach chun dul thar lear?
Abair dom faoin saoire is fearr a bhi agat riamh?

Any help would be greatly appriciated!!

An bhuil se costasach chun dul thar lear?

is it expensive to go abroad?
    1878

    míle h-ocht gcead seachto hocht.
An gceapeann tu go bhuil an iomaraca bru ar dheagoriri na linne seo?

do you think there's unneccessary pressure[bru] on youth/teenagers[dheagoriri] on this line? - i'm not sure on this one except for the words fro pressure and youth. i suppose this is a question to a sliocht?

Thank you so much! It was taken from a list of questions so I'm not sure what the line bit means

Do you know how to say the 22nd of April in Irish I need to know my date of birth I'm so lazy I should have learned that ages ago!

No we're both right Gary. You just gave a slightly different version. Both of our posts are right Aporia. They only different is that I just wrote 'April' whereas Gary wrote it as 'the month of April'. You just choose which you prefer.

Oh and good luck with the oral. The best advice I can give you is to relax!
