    does anybody know anything about the fender performer 1000 ? (100 watt combo). i am considering buying one second hand.

    i have one for sale but its need repairing. was quoted about 50 euro
    have it repaired.

    Nice enough amps. Tube preamp (if I'm thinking about the right one). Doc Savage has one. Loud feckers!

    Dont have the time or interest at this moment to get it repaired man. Im selling it as is. I've been offered 450 for it repaired so i think its fair enough to sell it as is for 350. Thats with Channel selecter pedal and the original cables and everything.

    :P yerself! mans gotta make a living. Lemme put it back on topic then.,


    yeah its a nice amp, its crazy loud though. And it has that fender thing of being very shrill and top heavey in the treble department. but i think thats one of the reasons people like em. 3 Channels, 1 clean 2 dirt. Seems to be built fairly well and the front tweed cover is removable for some reason. They also seem to be fairly rare, i picked mine up about 10 years ago and they were hard to track down even back then. I was using it for Metal for a few months, just cause it was so loud and i was 15. it could be the reason why my left eara doesnt hear as good as my right one sometimes!

    I searched the buy and sell and I picked up a Fender performer from a lovely man. €240 in briliant condition, footswitch and all. exactly what i was looking for!
