Can't get Mc Afee to work

Hello everyone I bought Mc Afee Internet Security suite 2006 and when i put it into the drive and open it a small bow opens in the middle of the screen about the size of a finger nail and I can't access anything on the cd rom any help would be much appreciated . Thank you, Graham.

Here is a screenshot of what happens when I try to access the mcaffee disc. Even when I try to explore the disc and double click auto run, this box just appears. Why is this box appearing. I did virus scans and adware scans to check was there something stopping the disc from running correctly. Is there something im missing.
I think for the first time ever no one actually knows what is going on here with this disc

Any Ideas

Graham, Im not the greatest pc hobbiist in the world. But I have never seen that before, do other discs work for you.
Have you tried to run it in safe mode

Have you tried hovering over the edges of the box to see if you can resize it?

Have you tried accessing the exe directly on the cd? Perhaps the autorun program is corrupt?

Is existing AV software removed?

Sometimes when I was trying to install Mcafee to rid virus/s from friends pc's the cd would never work or let me install Mcafee....
