Hey Ads - sorry to hear, I thought you were getting over that. Was wondering why you weren't on email/etc - thought perhaps you were out doing more driving than typing :)

Cheers Adam - no rush for it, so just hang on to it if you can and I'll get it off you when you get to one of the runs or classic shows

    Hi people,

The Triumph has gone straight to my
restorer to begin a crash restoration programme. It is getting a complete
new interior, wooden fascia, a full engine service, new suspension bushes,
universal joints and a reconditioned differential. At the same time some
floor panels are being changed and few rust spots will be attended to. A new
stainless steel exhaust system is also on its way. It will not be respsrayed
yet, I shall drive it for a while and let it dry out completely in the dry
and hot irish climate until possibly the end of this summer.

It is a very nice car, thank you. I shall send you photos in about 1 month
from today when (hopefully) everything will be finished.
The Stag has had a good steam cleaning underneath, as well
as inside its engine bay. All undeseal/waxoil has been
removed so as to expose the bare metal and see which parts
need replacing. It seems that it is getting a new floor
section as well as boot section at the moment. It is still
early days and the list to Rimmer Bros is growing by the
day! Anyway, thats me I like things to be as close to new,
as possible. Fortunately we have good skilled sheet metal
workers over here who could fabricate and install anything.

    Adam

    Hi Adam

Mind me asking who is doing it for you - my TR6 could do with a few tweaks now too. Nothing major done to it since 2001.
