Can someone recommend a shop in Dublin that sells Caterpillar safety/work boots in Dublin. I phoned Millet's Camping but they don't do work boots.

Also what other brands of safety boots are also good?

A good safety shop is the way to go. I dont know what ones are in dublin, but there will be plenty around if you look up the golden pages.

Dont bother with the caterpillar ones, I dont think they last anything like a "proper" pair and they cost more.

I dont think the brand matters, they all tend to cost about €35, and conform to the same spec, e.g. steel toe cap, protected sole.

Theres a shop on georges street in dublin that sells work clothes like that, snickers gear and work boots etc. dont know the name.
radionics sell safety boots but could be pricey.

I think so. It has a large glass window at the front, and I think there are manequinns wearing chef outfits. they sell all work wear like uniforms.

There's a shop at the very top of Capel Street, Dublin, near where it meets Parnell Street that sells steeltoe boots, there are also a couple of shops along Capel Street if you keep your eyes peeled ;)

    It is what it's.

What size are you looking for?
I have a size 10/11 iirck that I could flog for cheap. Very little use. Let me know if you're interested.
Otherwise, Snickers have an outlet but I don't know the name of the road, it's near Grand Canal basin.

Don't buy cheapies if you're going to be wearing them constantly.

They dont tend to be that expensive anyway. I guess builders dont tolerate the same mark-up as one might find on womens shoes!

dont go for the cheap option , if you do a lot of walking in cheap work boots you will feel a lot of pain , have a look at these ones , costs a bit more but worth it
