Zen Vision M: TV Cable

    Does anyone know where you can find the cable to connect the Zen Vision M to the TV?

    It is a 3.5mm to tv (red/yellow/white) connector.

    The Creative website is selling it for about €17, which seems extremely steep. It is currently out of stock though.

    Maplins, or most electronics stores but I doubt it'd be much cheaper.
    Try eBay perhaps? or elara & komplett.ie

    Unfortunately, no. The connector pinout is nonstandard, and so you have to use Creative's cable. However, one person supposedly found that the cable from Archos PVRs can be used:

    From this, it would seem only the proprietary Creative cable will work. Has anyone managed it with a standard 3.mm 3RCA?

    I think you can get them in Harvey Normans,but dont quote me on it.

    I run the MP3 desk in Harvey Norman in Dundalk and no, we don't have it... yet. The 3 channel 3.5mm to 3 RCA cable that we have (in the electrical department) is for camcorders and is not wired the same way as the Creative cable (i.e.: it won't work).

    The only place I know of for sure that you can get it at the moment is creative.com, unfortunately.

    I checked with both Creative and our main supplier of Creative hardware, and yes - the Creative online store is the only place to get them ... for the moment... in the next couple of months the suppliers should be getting hold of them and retailers should have them then. Nothing is confirmed yet, though.
