    hey guys
I ordered a a new laptop from Dell over 2 weeks ago which featured a gforce 7800Go graphics card, however due to shortages they rang me back yesterday to either wait 6/8 weeks till they can fit the laptop with this card or use a replacement card and get the laptop out to me next week, I need the laptop quick so there replaceing it with an ati X1400 with 256mb RAM, they told me its not as powerfull of a card and have given me a reduction off the cost of my laptop. Gaming isnt a priority for me with the laptop but it would be nice to a game of counterstrike source or half life 2 at good speeds and detail high, is this graphics card any good, I dont know anything about it.
    cheers

It should be able to do the job fine, the 7800Go is itself superseeded now anyways as we see the 7900Go emerging soon,I dont think it'll be available to us as an upgrade (im assuming you have an inspiron 9300 or XPS gen2/m170).Besides my banter your card should be able to handle games fine with reason!
