Hey, just wondering if anyone can help....
When I play a CD or DVD on my laptop the sound is all jumpy, but if i rip the songs to the hard drive and play from there, the sound is fine. I also just noticed something else by accident this afternoon... I put in a CD to rip onto my hard drive, and as usual the sound was jumpy when i played it. But at the same time i was online watching a video on youtube.com but when the CD started, the sound on the video became jumpy too... even when i turned off the volume for the CD.

    Any suggestions??

maybe your lense is dirty/feckedon the cd drive...try cleanin the lense...maybe the processor power used by the cd drive is slowing down your video hence causing the dodgy sound

Thanks for the reply. I dont think thats the problem as I've already used a lens cleaner and that wouldn't really affect the sound of a video playing online?! Also I dont think its my processor as its pretty quick. Any more suggestions would helpful though?!
