Get one. Worth it for GRAW and Call of Duty 2 alone.

I'd say wait until the PS3 comes ou to compare, but it seems it will be quite a wait, oh and you can run linux on it ;)

Yeah its very good but you won't see the full effects of it unless you're running it on a HD-TV.

Admittedly its very good - GRAW, COD2, PGR3 are the games you should be looking for. Oblivion is supposed to be good, just not my cup of tea though.

Like I say to anyone if you dont have broadband dont bother! It loses half its appeal. If you do have broadband and have ground out of ps2 and xbox graphics, then go for the 360, especially if you have the money, why not like! On the other hand, If you have a high definition tv and surround sound setup, definitly go for it! Well worth it!

    Definitly if you have
    A. A HD tv / Good quality monitor
    B. Broadband...yes, you do need live
    C. A nice loud surround sound system

I was sitting on the fence about it... but then I played Oblivion today. Now I *really* want a 360. I'm too much in debt to be able to afford one though. :(

Oblivion is sooo sweet, but has frame rate issues on standard tvs, but if you HD, then its worth it, and even if your not, it's one fine game!!

Tis a great game, on the opening movie thing, the sound stopped a few times and was quite jittery, don't know why. tis alright now, but i am going to bring it back anyway, there were scratches on the disc and it was sealed!

Definitely get one. I've had every console since the megadrive, and the 360 is genuinely amazing, and a real step forward.

    With Broadband.

Without it, it's decent. I'd put broadband as being far more important than a HDTV for example.

    Simple answer.
    Yes.

It's very similar to the old xbox and just better in every way!

I'll be getting the PS3 when it comes out aswell, but in my oppinion, the 360 will be better.

you can wait for ps3 and judge then, but there's a long time before november rolls around, with a summer of working (if you're a student of some sort now) in between, so you can afford to get a 360 now and build up a bit of cash for november
