    I am in the same boat myself.
    Tried for 2-3 months to get a new job, I wanted to leave the current one. I needed a change badly - I became institutionalized after spending 5 years there.

    After 2-3 failed attempts, and after my confidence reached an all time low, I managed to get not 1 but 2 excellent offers with very interesting companies - better both from the job and money point of view than the current one.

    Confidence, confidence, confidence - that's all you need !

    I accepted one of them and I am starting shortly.

    Yepeee !!!
