Yeah I know.. its a strange one. But they put on an excellent show... its highly unlikely Pink Floyd will reunite to tour .. .and given im too young to have seen them when they were together ... Im all for it

Im going to see them for the 5th time. Amazing band to see and would advise anyone to go see them. They sound exactly like the real thing but can put their own slant on songs from time to time. Great light show too. Was great when they used to play the Olympia though.

Should be class. first time going. love floyd and going on the advice of a friend. hopes it lives up to the billing you guys have given it.

    Played Astronomy Domine alright. :D

I felt the gig was a little slow to get off the ground as they started off with a couple of numbers from Animals which (I assume) many of the crowd didn't know. Once thay came back from the interval the audience and the show moved up a gear.

I really enjoyed it & the light show was fantastic.

Very Valid point. Looks like many of us Irish have very little respect, I was stuck beside two dickheads who talked/shouted to each other for the whole show.

BTW I told a little porky on my previous post, they didn't play 'a couple of numbers foom Animals' thay played the whole Album!

I am listening to it as I type and I confess to not having listened to it in a while.

    Please forgive me!:o

    o

Had the same myself.. I`ve often asked people to be quiet, but the group of lads that were talkin last night were locked, so i didnt bother. Dont understand why people pay a pile of money for a gig, and spend it yappin... why not go to the pub.?

Was at a show in Canada once and when the show started no one was let in until the break.. proper order..

Still a great show last night.. best mirror ball ever!

I am in agreement with all here, it was a great gig, although I got a little spooked when they broke with tradition and didn't start the whole gig with 'Shine On...'. The lads have really beefed it up on the effects side of things with the lights and especially the big pig. Fair play, they played a very long set faultlessly. I know its not the Olympia but sure what can you do...

Excellent concert, enjoyed the first half but the second half really got going, the numb finale obviously kicked ass! sitting behind a crowd of people off their heads, one guy NEVER stopped shouting 'come on i say' the whole way through- moron

Absolutely amazing gig.The light show was incredible and the music was spot on,really impressive.

The great gig in the sky was amazing, couldnt believe how good it was.It was great singing along to wish you were here and comfortably numb.

Loved the wish you were here album cover with the kangaroo :)

One minor complaint was that run like hell was the encore, while its a great song i was really hoping they would play "hey you" instead.

This band keep on getting better. Animals was a welcome change imo. Enjoyed it from start to finish. Highlight as usual was comfortably numb. I think they should have left it at that although run like hell is the traditional encore. Everybody should see this band at least once.
My only complaint is I was deaf for 2 days after- sitting in the front row in front of 3 six foot high speakers.

edit: forgot about high hopes- great to hear it again
