    Lads/Lassies,

    if a directory on an ftp server say has 6 subdirectories, can you actually download it, basically i am using bulletproof ftp and its coming up command successful and indicating all "command successful" but nothing apppears in my target directory on my pc, now if these directories contained files they do appear and all is well

    Huh? Not sure what you mean? Generally if you download a folder with sub folders in the folder structure will remain intact.

    I use smart ftp or the mozilla ftp plug in - both are good..

    Cheers smeggle, its the same ol story with smart ftp, still wont retrieve directories with nothing in them, even the empty sub directories, basically nothing comes back

    Thats cause there empty - pop a .txt in each one and then try. Think it's cause they need to have something in them for the program to reconise them as a folder - something like that. Could be wrong though?

    Worth a try though - working on the adage if they have something in them then theres a reason to download them..Only thing I can think of anyway..
