i was in a similar situation so i decided to hunt down the cheapest Internet Cafe in town and its on WestMoreland Street of all places. Its only a euro per hour and they have preinstalled PP,VC and ladbrokes since i'm always there playing them.If you walk in and see a guy playing poker its most likely me!!!

It opens till 11 so you can use the one on the quays like boh mentioned

yep, the Westmoreland one, also there is one in Rathmines (painted in the colour of the Irish flag). Has everything installed. Generally if it is run by Chinese, it'll be cheap and have all the programmes installed.

Casino's usually have a deal with one site, where they get the computers for free and the site gets exclusive use, so yes, that's possible.

As for Internet cafés, I run two myself here in Galway and we do allow poker. I really don't get it that some Internet cafés don't allow poker. It doesn't make sense to me. At my place, poker players get 20% discount, because they stay on for a long time each go. They are good and friendly customers.
