The qualifier for Pro Tour Charleston (i think) is on in the regency hotel on sunday 2nd april. format is team standard - 3 players playing three seperate standard decks. between the three decks you cannot have more than four copies of any one non-basic land, so for example two decks can't each have 4 jittes, but one deck can have 3 and another can have 1. anyone going?

Do you know how much it costs to enter?

its €25 for a team of three. Registration begins at 10am and ends at 11am. The TO's would appreciate it if teams wrote out decklists beforehand to save time.

Well seph, sionnach and i headed to the team standard on sunday with the following team:

    Sionnach - Seat A - R/G/W Zoo aggro/burn
    Me - Seat B - B/G/U Aggro control
    Sephirosis - Seat C - U/R Niv-Mizzet Control

We won rounds one and two, with round two boiling down to sephs last round which he won on the last turn of extra time.
Round three we came up against Craig Jones' team from england, which ended in a draw. We lost our next round fairly unluckily when certain victory which seemed assured after round one turned sour. We then lost to a Galway team in a nailbiting finish which faced me off against a ghost dad deck. we each played out our hands and ended up in a topdeck war. i got nothing but land, he got some useful stuff and the match ended with him taking the win. We went on to win our last round, finishing on 10 points with a 3-1-2 record, taking 7th place but not making top 4. disappointing slightly, but we had a blast
