Irish Reality tv

Im trying to think of Irish made reality tv programmes, and all I can remember is Popstars, Your a Star, and Cabin Fever (the one where the boat sank...)
Can anyone think of any others or is that it?
Seems a bit poor compared to Britains relentless outpour of new reality tv shows...

Haunted House. Dreadful lasted 3 nights and then was supposed to have a big eviction night in the RDS 3 months later ????? ??????

    Celebrity Farm

    UK: www.five.tv/programmes/thefarm
    France: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/tv_and_radio/3687141.stm

According to the BBC archive it was an American idea, I was sure RTE came up with it all on their own.

I actually thought that Cabin Fever was the most realistic reality show ever produced who would have though that the Ship would actually run a ground with out help from the producers. (Or did the producers help) mmmmmm????

Also TG4 have had a few reality TV shows such as:

SOS: 7 TG4 personalities are sent into the wintery wild to fend for themselves. Actually quite good. I am fairly sure it was on an Island of the coast of Ireland.

Ni Gealigori Me: 7 Irish personalities learn to speak some Irish over a week. It just finished Jenny Kelly from Ray Darcy's Show won. http://www.tg4.ie/inte/ngm/nua.php Based on the S4C show where some British personalites learn Welsh.

Glor Tire: To find Ireland's next big country singer
Seems a bit poor compared to Britains relentless outpour of new reality tv shows...

Thank God. What kind of complaint is that? is it a complaint?

And what about Treasure Island, which ran for 2 series. Who could ever forget the gloriously evil bleached blonde from Galway that was Aoife?

Yeah, I cant wait to see George Hook, Dana and Gavin Lambe-Murphy (I think he's on it, open to correction on this one) dancing around on National Television.

The only thing that would top it all off is if Daniel O'Donnell was presenting it. :p

I mentioned Gavin Lambe Murphy on another thread but I wouldn't say he is going to do another reality show.

I'm proud to say I never watched a second of that crap on TG4 where they speak Irish for a week.

Marty Whelan presenting it - well it couldn't get any worse, IMO. Or could it? ;)

Sad thing is I am also open to correction. I wouldn't be surprised if he did turn up. :(

Didn't they do some reality show for the last People in Need? A bunch of D list celebrities in a house manning a radio station. I think it was called Charity 252.

And does anyone remember House of Love? It was kind of a mix of game show and reality TV show. It had a bunch of couples competing to own a house by answering questions about each other. There was a panel of judges (for what purpose I'm not sure) and each week one of the couples got voted off by the public. What a terrible, terrible programme. One of the worst I've ever seen on RTE (and that's quiet an achievement :D).

They are doing too many Reality TV shows with Celebs. They need to do a few with unknowns.
