Is Ryanair online check-in not available to users of Shannon airport because of a certain country's psycothic obsession with security because of their illegal activitys abroad....

2/10. Too short, little effort put in and not nearly enough anger or bile. You also failed to resort to national stereotypes. See me after class.

Actually had a way better one wrote out but because of extremist views, some colourful language and a certain banning just deleted it all and wrote my lil piece!

    Money talks.
Airport staff refusing to operate new Ryanair system
    24/03/2006 - 07:29:54

Staff at Dublin Airport are reportedly refusing to co-operate with a new online check-in system introduced by Ryanair.

The system, which was introduced last week on the airline's Dublin to Cork services, allows passengers to print their boarding cards from their home or office computers before arriving at the airport.

Ryanair is hoping to move will help it cut costs by reducing the number of check-in desks it has to operate.

Under the scheme, Dublin Airport Authority staff must scan a barcode on the printed boarding card before allowing the passenger to proceed to the departure gates.

However, reports this morning said staff were refusing to co-operate with this were telling passengers who arrive with printed boarding cards to go back through the check-in procedure.

The dispute has reportedly been referred to the Labour Relations Commission by the DAA.

No. There are various airports you can't use it from/to at the moment.

I never knew you could do that. Ryanair FTW!

I don't understand why there is a problem with this?? Many airlines in other countries have online check-in, including some based in the US.

    SIPTU. Unions. C*nts.

I actually sort of agree with them in this case and I don't usually agree with unions. Scanning barcodes of tickets is something I would expect Ryanair staff to do.
