When your starting out in a MTT at a 10 seat table, should you play tighter since there are more people at the table, or looser since the blinds are so low?

And would it be the same answer for a STT?

Basically you look to find a strategy which works best for you. Personally I boringly try to play solid hands in the right position ala Harrington.

In freezeouts I play tight as a camels crack in a sandstorm for the first few levels. I'll only play premium hands in EP. I'll play more marginal hands for cheap in LP.

As the blinds go up i'll start playing alot more aggresively with more marginal hands.

Same as most players i reckon

See loads of limpety limp flops when the blinds are cheap with hands that have the potential to stack someone on the sly if you hit the flop. Early stages are good for drawing because the implied odds in relation to the size of the pot/bets will generally be more favourable than later on. Don't do anything too crazy early on.

Play like a maniac and get your money into every pot. Go to bed early and get a good nights sleep. That seems to be a lot of mateyboy* tactics anyhow. Maybe not the sleep bit though.
