I am the villain of the hand, just want to see what is likely to call me.

Im quite new to table, so no reads either way. I am in the top 10, 140 ppl left of 300. I have 14k, you have about 10k.

You have AJ in sb. I raise in lp (pot size which is standard.) The flop is A7T 2 hearts. You lead for 1/3 of pot, I raise 2.5k, you call.

Turn is a 7 we both check

River is a 2 of hearts. You check I move in for 7k setting you all in. (pot is around 6)

    Call or fold?

What, is it 100-200? I probably fold, but I played the hand differently.

I fold but would have checkcalled the flop and bet the river.

I thnk I'd have to fold. I can't see you raising my flop bet with any hand that I beat. I think you have T7 or A7.

    Is the ace a heart??
I fold, but I don't like the way SB played the hand.
I think foldin pre is ok
    Rasing preflop is ok
What about a Stop and go for 3/4 pot....

The fact you checked turn leads me to believe u weren't worried about flush draw..Did you have TT, A7...you didn't have KhQh?NAh.

why would I lead for 1/3 the pot on the flop? If it's that old chestnut "raising for information" then why did I call your reraise? What do you hold as a PFR that you re-raise with, that I beat?

I either fold to your flop re-raise or I push then & there.

    8h9h hj?

I fold the AJ... what does he think he's beating? A9/A8/bluff? Terrible play..

If he thought he was behind he should fold on the flop. The stacks aren't nearly deep enough to check/call down to the river and try and find out cheaply...

If he thought his AJ was good he should bet the turn.

    Fold to the hammer.

I reckon you definetly have a 7 in your hand. Reason being I have a tell on you. :)

when you described the flop you said A7T. Now unless it came out in that exact order, why would you put the 7 before the T ?? ie AT7.

I got it in Mike Caros 'Book of Forum Tells'. :)

I call for a larf, but due to your raise preflop i reckon you have the monster 72o.

I was bluffing. A friend of mine was watching and was horrified; he thought I got very lucky that the guy folded and that I should be trying to protect my stack rather than push people off top pair. When he called the raise on the flop I was done with the hand, but I thought the turn and river were perfect cards to push AJ AQ AK off the hand. I pushed instantly on the river, villain thought for ages - then folded face up.

the guy calls ur raise with AJ out of position, hits the A on the flop and dosent move in.
what the feck was he hoping for.
i would either move in preflop or deffo on the flop if i decide to play.

wp. If you are holding TT/T7A7 or KQh how differently would you have played them?

Gholi - you really need to work on your understanding of the game.

I would bet the turn if I had a house - but most people wouldnt and he has no idea who I am. With KQh I would play it the same most of the time.

Really? You call a 2bb raise and then bet 30bb all in on a AT7 flop. What better hand is folding? What worse hand is calling? Do you often bet 5 times the pot with a pair?

Moving in preflop is so bad I quite like it.
