My girlfriend bought a MV computer about 6 months ago.
It works well but I have a problem that I don't know much about. Can anybody help me.

This pops up when I click on control panel. I haven't a clue what it means or how to fix it. thanks.

Not sure as to why that is coming up I have access to a few laptops with Intel wireless network cards that use the Intel control panel and none of them exhibited this behaviour.

Anyway an easy way to resolve it would be to turn off the Intel WiFi adaptor control panel and let Windows manage it, that should stop the pop-up from reappearing.

Go into the Control Panel->Network Connections->Wireless Network Connection
Right click select on wireless and select properties.

Under the "Wireless network" tab tick the box next to "use Windows to configure my wireless network settings" and click ok.

That's it should be problem solved, an alternate method is if you disable the WiFi altogether if you are not using it just right click on the wireless network connection and select disable.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the wireless controller software? It could just be a botched installation on the cpl component.

Ive been googling the problem and it seems like it could be a faulty install, so remove the software associated with the wireless and the drivers and re-install the lot. Let us know of the results
