Does anyone remember on here a few months ago may have been last year someone posted something about the possibility of using their or a friends house for a weekly or bi weekly party, charging in a fee and you get some free drinks or something to that effect?

I cant remember the ins and outs of it but with summer coming up,and if you got a good bunch of people there with no scumbags im sure it would be a top session, who was it who posted this again, and what exactly was proposed?Very good idea i thought :)

personally i think it would be a good idea at the start
but then word get around, and the people you dont want turning up at your party, start turning up,will be very hard to keep the unwanted away from the party. good idea, but likely house will get thrashed:cool:

Yup, and you'd most likely need a license for it too... And insurance. I know noone that goes would say anything, but it's someone you refused that would.

Plus it really wouldn't be worth the hassle. I wouldn't want 30+ strangers in my house, no matter how much I was being paid!

Eh, just hold a party for your friends?
    Why one for strangers?
That is what the beers are for. :)
Hmm, which user will I pretend to be this time?

It reminds me of a girl from where I live whose friends sent an email about her free house on bebo. A week before I got it, one of my friends from Athlone got it. She found out that practically everyone on bebo knew about it, and was forced to tell her parents, who hired out some bouncers and decided to charge in at the door.

About three-hundred people turned up, although not that many people actually got in, apparently.

Part of the reason why so many went was because she (and her friends) were so hot!
