I'm trying to boost the sound on one of my mpeg Videos, but i cant find a prog to do it. I know you can do it with mp3's by editing a tag, can you do the same with mpeg video??

    Cheers,

    Vinny

If you know how to do it with an MP3, then virtualdubmod will probably sort you out. You'd need to demux the sound as a file (video->streams->demux), up the volume, then replace the old sound stream with a new one.

To replace, video->streams->remove, then add your new mp3, then look for direct stream copy, file->save as, bingo! (I can't actually see vdubmod atm, so some menu names may be incorrect, but the jist is right).

Note that this may not be the most efficient way to do this, it's just a way that I know how. :)
