Yeah so this title dosent look like it belongs in the COD forum but here is the thing.

I got the euro forces expansion for a tenner for BF2 I thought the cheak of EA charging for what is basically a few extra maps and some new weapons.

But to me this is how I feel about COD2. I finally got cod 2 and its still COD the beutifull game but no more. So it seems like Activision are charging 50-60 quid for a few new maps ( or slightly edited maps) and a few new weapons and tweeked graphics ( they call it a new engine, but i dont think so, even on DX9 ).

I dont feel so ripped off by EA now but do for COD2. OK i got it second hand cheap off some one but I think I would have been sick if id paid full price for it. Im just as happy playing COD1 . I hardly ever go back to BF1942 but I do play the odd game of COD1 these days.

OK Steph hope im not opening a can of worms here but it is how I feel about the game after getting it 2 weeks and playing it a fair bit now.

Cod 1 and 2 is just MOHAA with ironsights, it has most of the original dev team from 2015 and the best community mappers from MOHAA
    Allied Assault News:

    * Jon “RUNGSI” Porter, the Project Leader of Hosted Site: Band of Brothers has released some news concerning Medal of Honors ability to be edited for custom modifications.

Jon Porter joined IW in March 2004. Jon created a well known modification for MOH/AA and later won the level designers contest having his level featured on the Spearhead Expansion pack. He was known in the community as RUNGSI. Jon was attending Full Sail for Computer Animation, but left school after a call from IW. Besides level designing Jon enjoys model creation with Maya.

Scroll tru that list of IW staff the word MOHAA pops up quite a lot, shame 2015 werent allowed finish MOHAA the way they wanted too, but if they did there wouldnt be a COD. Some amazing mappers and designers there but they just rehashing MOHAA for the anti EA brigade.

    COD 3 = http://map.planetmedalofhonor.gamespy.com/mohaa/index.php

Hopefully Jv_map finally get that job :D

It's hard to improve on something that was so good to begin with... Be nice! :p

i think steff has the only nice thing to say about cod2, the only thing that really needs fixing is the hit boxes then we will be god to go...

But the question is: Is Infinity Ward aware of the hit box issue and if so, did they address this issue in the patch? I sincerely hope so... :o

Cod 2 offered me nothing new to intrest me in the game it only put me off. Having to learn how the weapons work again is a pain in the ass espicailly since they are the same weapons but now they behave differentlly. So i have to relearn to use weapons I already learned in COD 1 and I paid 50 quid for it.
