Anybody know who makes powerpoint dvd recorders. I have a model DR280 and am looking for a website. If anybody knows if they are rebranded let me know. I bought it in Powercity.

Long redundant thread I know, but in case anyone comes across it on google looking for info, this machine is a rebadged YAMADA UMAX DVR8400X http://www.dv-rec.de/test/player2005/8400/8400.html - identical boards, the YAMADA UMAX DVR8400X remote works too.

The firmware isn't great, but it certainly reads just about ANY DVD.
