XBox Light Gun (Game)

    Just got one from GAME.
    They are currently selling their own brand guns for 15 Euros.

    But cannot get it to work
    On my Widescreen TV the gun up/down axis works, but sights continuously move left to right.

    On an older TV, it works if you turn up tv brightness all way so nearly all white - but you can barely see anything, sights still jump around.

    - anyone any luck with getting a Light Gun
    working with Xbox? Are they all junk or could it be a faulty one?

    I've got one: can't remember the brand name but it's not one you would have heard of before. Anyway, it has worked alright on a couple of tvs but there is a problem getting it calibrated. It's almost impossible to get the thing to aim exactly where you want it to. I think that's a general problem with all xbox guns, cos none of them are official (ie made by microsoft). The most annoying thing though is that there's only one game out there that you can use it with, House of the Dead 3. I know you can get silent scope but I think you need the sniper gun for that to work...

    Ive only got silent scope,the B button does the zooming. It looks like it should work (calibrates ok when screen very white) - but maybe thats my problem I dont have a scope gun.

    I hear the following games are light gun enabled- I dont have them,so could be wrong:
    Starkey & Hutch (one drives one shoots according to Game website)
    Dino Crisis 3
    Silent Scope (1,2,3 and complete)
    House of Dead 3
    (And maybe an emulator that prob can't be mentioned.)
