If I use p2p sites does it mean I have to leave pc on all the time even if I'm not dloading,so that the stuff can be uploaded to someone else. Can I delete stuff after watching or do I have to wait until I see that it has been uploaded to another person?(I usually turn off pc and unplug bband at night.)

turn off your computer when your not downloading stuff. The people uploading from you will be online soon enough to finish their business.

No. You only need to have app on as long as you need it, ditto for your PC.

You can also delete stuff as soon as you get it, but it is bad form to do this if someone is downloading it off you.

You can also disable both sharing and Ultrapeer/Supernode serving if you want to.
