Recruitment Agencies - Why won't they delete my contact details?

    Hello,

    I get e-mails/phone calls from recruitment agencies every second day or so.

    I continuously request them to remove my details - contact and CV - from their systems.

    They always say, "No problem!" and then contact me again a few weeks later.

    Anyone else experiencing this?

    I hate agencies.

    The "I already have a job" line usually gets rid of them. Don't do anything rash, in case you ever need a new job.

    This was the only way I solved that problem, and they had absolutely no choice but to act, as they were breaking the law if they didn't. It worked !

    Under the Data Protection Acts, 1988 and 2003, I am formally requesting to have all my details removed from all your databases, computer systems, handwritten or typed records etc.
