TES4:Oblivious Irish release date

Anyone know when this will hit our shores? Think I remember mention of 31st March, but IGN have it as "Europe: April 30, 2006" and play.com still showing March 24th ...

Hi guys, I was just on the official Oblivion forum and apparently there are places in Europe who have got it this morning and have started selling it now.

Has anybody heard of the possibility of that happening here?

Obviously any inside information will be greatly appreciated!!!!

Play sent me an email confirming they have posted my copy this morning. Would love to have it for the weekend, but that's probably unlikely.

Was just in Smyths and they still had it advertised as release on 24th.

Did you ask the staff were they selling them cause the same thing happened to me with Ghost Recon?

I went in the day before the advertised release date and saw that they had them advertised for the Following day. I walked out assuming that they weren't selling it but some people walked in ten minutes after me and asked the staff who sold it to them. :mad:

I'm just not brave enough I guess.

There is no "street date" for Oblivion, so they are actually allowed sell it when they get it. It's on it's way from Play anyway, hopefully I can get some college project work done before it all goes down the drain!

of course there is a street date for oblivion. the release date is friday. anyone who breaks it will get in the same trouble they would if they broke another huge game.

game got it today. was havin a look. nice packaging on special edition. very nerdy all the same.

My brother ordered it off play I'm really looking forward to play it.waiting for it for a week or more is abit annoying.

Last game I got from them took two weeks to arrive. Hope you have paitence, or alot of college work to do.

Just go into the shops in town and ask them if they'll sell you a copy. They'll have them in there.

only noticed that when i wen to play it, had to disconnect from pc monitor and plug into tv to set it, panic stations for a few minutes there lol

how much did everyone pay for their copy?

I went into game in dundrum with €80 vouchers expecting the game to be €70+ and saw they were selling the normal edition for €65. So i asked what was the difference between the normal and collectors (not much usefull!) and thought i may as well get the collectors with the extra voucher money, so i asked how much the collectors was.......€65!

Was walking through virgin on my way to pizza hut to check the price and tey were charging about 80 for the collectors.

I got the collectors edition for €70 with Xtra-Vis. Exactly the same size as the LOTR extended edition boxes so goes well along side them. You get a dvd about the making of it aswell as a coin, and book explaining the history of the region. Very nicely presented.
