Aer Lingus - New Flight Cancellation Charge

    Hi,
I went to cancel an Aer Lingus flight this morning and was told from March 20th they are charging a 15 euro admin fee to do so.
I know I cant get the cost of my flight back - aer lingus keep that - but I was hoping to get my taxes back.

I've done this several times in the past and have never been charged. Does anyone think 15 euro is a bit steep just to cancel a flight? Is it worth writing to Aer Lingus to tell them or will the letter just end up in the bin?

It's no different than what many airlines are doing now I'm afraid. You can always write, but I'd imagine they'll just give you a "that's how we're keeping our fares so low" type response.
