Hi There, The keyboard player in my band uses a lot of MIDI. He reads songs of floppy disks and every now and then it stutters badly, sounding like it plays the song in about 3 seconds. As we use this for drums and horns it messes things up badly. Any ideas, could be be a configuration issue, a hardware issue, or anything…

Hi There,

The keyboard player in my band uses a lot of MIDI.

He reads songs of floppy disks and every now and then it stutters badly, sounding like it plays the song in about 3 seconds.

As we use this for drums and horns it messes things up badly.

Any ideas, could be be a configuration issue, a hardware issue, or anything else?

The keyboard is a Rolan Phantom, base model a few years old.
