There should be four holes on the face of the radio. stick a clothes hanger in them and work the unit out, alternatively an Opel dealer can supply you with a removal tool

You will also need a specific Opel to ISO wiring adaptor, as Opels have the permanent feed where the ignition would normally be. and vice versa.

If you buy a specific Opel one you won't have to swap the wires

Do you know if this is expensive? (the adapter?). My friend is selling me a blaupunkt face off one.

think it's around €15, you can get them in most motor factors. As far as i remember they're made by Audioleads

I called Deevys and he said he's 99.9% sure that i won't need that lead. He said it should be stabdard reconnect?

On the Opel wiring loom in the car the ignition live and the permanent live are the opposite way around, on most aftermarket stereo's on the ISO loom, you can usually unplug the red and yellow wires and switch them around,

If you don't swap these wires your radio will lose the time and presets evert time you turn off the ignition.

all the ones i have ever come across had the allen screws.the ones that dont usually have had an aftermarket radio in them

yes there should be allen key screws in the holes. you will need a 2mm allen key to remove them. then cut the corners off a metal coat hanger so you will have 2 bits shaped similar to this < > insert these into the holes and you should be able to get the radio out. alternativly you could get a set of radio keys in any car audio shop.
