Sharing files wirelessly.

In a perfect world what i want to do would be easy, let's hope it is.
I
s it possible and if so how,

(!)to share files between two computers wirelessly.
and also

(!)to share an internet connection between two computers mutually,as in while my pc in the living room has a low connection, yet my laptop in my bedroom has an excellent one, can my pc benefit somehow?

I have ntl bb starter but it is all wireless.

However you might find that the signal between PC and laptop is not better than between PC and router.
