Afternoon Ladies & Gents & Fajitas,

I'm a 20year old BA Hons Visual Communications student from Waterford, inspired by photographers like Dino Dalle Carbonare, Reinhard Klein and Easton Chang. My main subjects are usually automotive but I do like to break from the mold every now and then and shoot something completely oppiste of what I usually shoot !

So, Just said I'd pop in and share a few photos I've taken over the last 12 months or so, hope you enjoy !!

Nice shots, in particular I like 4,5,7 and 9. Well done, keep it up :)

12 is incedible, I love it well done.

EDIT: Actually, my mind boggles at how you achieved that. Was there any photoshopping? If not then the only way I can think of is if it was a longish exposure where you were moving the camera in time to the vehicles but fast enough to blur the background...

Panning Zillah, same effect as http://www.flickr.com/photos/rymus/114790169/ (yes, pimping my own photos). My example isn't as good. Actually, you got it spot on with your guess. Not a very long exposure, just slow enough to blur the background while panning with the fast moving car.

My fav is the bmw pictured in what I can only presume is Tramore. It'd be nicer if there weren't any other cars in the shot though. Welcome to boards.

Me likes 4.....but then again I think I just like the Z4....can I ask where do you get the cars to photograph or do you just keep your camera handy and if you see something, snap away?

Asides from converting to B&W and level adjusment theyre all standard except number 12. From where I was standing a pan was impossible as they were straight in front of me travelling towards me if understand ? Just wanted something to liven it up as a good action shot, I can do pan shots tho !!

Thanks for all the welcoming comments ! :)

Are you sure number 4 isn't artifically blurred a slight tad ?

    bmw.jpg

The blur line by the bonnet seems to just 'appear' suddenly on the post by the prom, and the roof looks a bit soft compared to the rest of the car at the same focal length...

Time to sharpn up the photoshop skillz, Cossie :D
