I bought a new 60gb ipod last thursday and it died last night on me after less then 10 hours use, anyone else had this problem?

it stopped playing at 3am and the screen is frozen. no reaction to being connected to alpine ipod interface or pc.

is there a faulty batch of them out there like the extra scratchy nanos?

i jumped the gun a bit there. as this is my 3rd ipod and have not had any trouble with the other 2 i thought the new one had a hard drive failure!!!

After looking at apple.com/support i found out how to 'reset it' and now all is well.

BTW i thought apple stuff never crashed?:D
