Kilpedder is my idea of a good thing in the bumper at Downpatrick. He's a lovely looking horse. I saw him run a nice race in Carrigtwohill after Christmas, he ran on well to finish second and the jockey went incredibly easy on him, only nudging him along. He made his debut under rules a couple of weeks ago and ran a very nice race over course and distance to finish only a length behind Cuil Mhuine with 8 lengths to the horse in third and a further 8 lengths back to the fourth. Alan Fitzgerald only has one ride today and if you look at the jockey bookings 12 riders are claiming 7lbs and 1 claims 5lbs, Fitzgerald is the only jockey there with any sort of good experience and he'll ride the socks of those lads in a finish. I know that the horse is fancied today, that the last run has sharpened him up no end and that Paul Nolan thinks he's a very nice sort. He's my banker and forgive me for saying it but the 2/1 currently on offer in Paddy Powers is an absolute steal.

Don't go nuts on this one. Just because the last one won doesn't mean this will. They are not connected. This information is not as good as the previous information. In fairness though I'd say he'll run a good race none the less but he'll eventually earn his money over fences.
