I saw this Korean Martial Arts filck for the first time the other night, after hearing a lot about it. Has anyone else seen it? I didn't really know what to make of it!
The plot is, well, complicated at times because they don't explain an awful lot. For example, in the middle, it skips forward 10 years and the main character's name changes, all without any proper explanation (or maybe I didn't pick up on something, it just seemed that way).
There are some pretty good fight scenes, the main character Jinha learns a family martial art called the "Bichun Secret Art" which gives him powers. There's a good bit of wire-work, but at the same time it's not over done. There's also a lot of blood-spurting! It's quite surreal at times, Jinha masteres one particular move that makes people explode.
I thought it was enjoyable enough, but don't think I'd be rushing to watch it again. I'd definately be interested in what others made of it.
