    hi im new here.finally got an xbox 360 and would love to get on live.the problem is all this broadband stuff just goes over my head mbs ,routers,modems,wireless my heads spinning.anyway i've got eircom phone line so i'll be gettin my broadband from them they said i get a free modem will this be acceptable for live or should i get one of the other modems.I also dont want wires all over the place so do i need to get a certain modem to use the wireless thingy.any help is greatly appreciated and if things go well i'll be back here regulary.

    The router u get from eircom works perfect with xbox live and u can use the wireless adaptor aswell with it. All u have to on ur xbox in ur network settings is enter the wep key that u get on the eircom disc and make everething else automatic like ur ip address and dns server etc.
