Xorg Composite Extension and KDE tranperency

    anyone tried this with KDE's new transperency effects? its still a bit buggy and its doesnt work very well with GLX(the opengl libraries) but it does look class with windows fading in and out and whatnot.

    I hope they iron out all the bugs for KDE 4.0!

    BTW, this works best with nvidia gfx cards :)

    yeah ive used it, was incredibly slow for the window transparency tho, even with Nvidia 6800. Maybe was just coz my resolution is 1920 X 1200 :)

    hmm.. did enable renderaccell in xorg.conf??

    errr, well coz it was installed by default in Suse 10.0, i assumed that it would be set up properly, will have a look though
