Click on this link below , it appears as a €506 deal
    http://configure.euro.dell.com/dellstore/config.aspx?b=&c=ie&cs=ieepp1&l=en&oc=D03315&rbc=D03315&s=dhs&sbc=iedhsrsdimen_3100_3

reduce support from 3 year to 1 year,

    now its €371

includes 15" flat panel , printer and delivery . The printer is basically worthless or wirse given the cost of Dell ink but you could use up the free ink and chuck it out.

Change monitor to 17" CRT for free if thats what you want.

No modem included (this is Ireland of the primitive tech :( so thats another €22) and the keyboard and mouse are wireless /optical as standard. Another €34 brings it to €405 if you get Media Centre Edition instead of Windows XP Home.

You must state an employer name so pick any Bank or University but it will go to your home address anyway so no worries :D

Not to be sniffed at if a cheap and cheerful PC is required . My only quibble is the amount of RAM .

You also have to increase the memory selection to 512MB for Windows Media Center Edition and that adds another €90.
Good price system if you keep XP Home though.

I assume you all know this, but theres no AGP or PCI-e x16 slot on that machine, so you can't upgrade it to play games.

We Know. But we still think that €371 all in for a basic system with TFT , delivered to the door , is fine.
