I'll be making the leap from film to digital pretty soon and after some extensive research particular camera caught my eye. I'm not too well up on features are good on digital cameras yet but from the reviews i've read it sooms to tick most of teh boxes. Does anybody have this or model o rany experience with it . any feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks.

    Howdy,
I have the powershot SII (linky) . I think it's a brilliant camera. If you want to see some of the pictures I've shot just pm me. It was my first camera and I thought it was a really good one to start on. I'm actually just about to sell it to make some extra $$ for my next camera.

    Do you mean the Pro1? It's like a compact/slr?
I have one and I think they're great. perfect if you're starting off in semi-serious photography, i.e. you want to do more than just point and shoot.

I have one for sale actually here

But if your thinking about getting seriously into photography I'd go with a 350D
