The rivers on PPP.

    Does anyone who plays on ppp find it a complete joke, when you go in with a hand like AK v A10 and it constantly rivers a 10 or makes them a straight.

    I would love to know who coded the algorithms for the generator with regards flops because they need their head tested. I don't play often on ppp since I've taken my roll to pp, but I do play the feeders to the ppp open, but honestly the site with regards to suck outs needs to be looked at.

    It's not just [AK] v [A,10] it's the constant runner runner flush or when you have a higher pocket pair v a lower pocket pair they seem to hit more than they miss.

    I don't know if it's just me having bad luck. *shrug*

    I cannot tell a lie - it was me.

    From the code :

    if (username == sunzz && sunzz.isAhead() == true) {
    opponent.setHitMiracle(true);
    }

    deal(username, opponent);

    Sorry buddy.

    Hax....

    RNG Firewall needs to be updated.

    Back on topic - Im going through a horrible period of losing these 70/30's, im still doing well, however these situations have limited my earnings considerably, up to 20% of last weeks winnings.

    Bad luck. The important thing is you are going into a showdown holding AK over AT.

    I have to agree with the origianal poster here.
    I have played on party, UB, Betfair, Full Tilt, and VC.
    And i definately think there is a problem with the Tribecca software. I find the worst hand wins alot more than the favourite. not just when im in a hand, this is not just a bad beat bitching session!

    AA v 99.....9 on the river....HAS TO BE RIGGED!!!!!!!

    This has been covered a thousand times. Think about it...how many times have you been behind in an all-in and lost?? A lot more times then you've been ahead and lost I bet!! But you don't think about the ones where you were behind and lost for 15 mins cursing the bejaysus out of some guy who called your AA with 33 and caught a straight. :p

    I agree there is much higher percentage of lower cards i.e. non-favourites winning hands so much so that i succesfully started to go all in with for want of a better word crap hands 2,4 suited and the like and nailing AK, and 3,6 off beatign 10,10. each time on the river i wrote it all down. i have since stopped playing on PPP becasue i hate playing like that....

    That's totally out of order Karl. If you can't say something nice don't say anything at all.

    Everyone knows Karl sits in his office cackling and making sure players hit straights on the river (forcing people to push all their chips in, despite their opponent hitting a flush with the river). I heard he eats babys, and for St Patrick's Day he slaughtered 43 Leprechauns, only to steal their gold and lose it betting on horses that only had 3 legs (all at the front).

    Your imagination is doing some serious overtime. I've been turning a steady profit from their cash games for well over a year now despite the river being damn cruel to me on many occasions.

    i have devised an unriggable poker game to remove these 'bad beats' i'm hearing so much about.

    I present "Me-Hi-Ca"

    It's a 1 card game with the player holding the highest value card taking the pot.

    It is played using a special deck of 52 cards with the numbers 1 - 52 written on them. It is played on a 52 seater table and each player is dealt 1 card. Betting commences in a clockwise direction and the player with the number 52 card wins.

    you'll never see it cracked by #1. no turn. no river.

    sounds like fun huh!?

    ....

    If the hand that is behind didnt win about 1 time every 3, then it really would be rigged :)

    Just to go briefly over what we have said about this issue before. Posts questioning online sites are frowned upon unless you first play at least 1,000,000 hands on said site, put them into poker tracker, then post the analysis here that shows your AK v A10 did not win approx. 70%. of the time.

    I played in SE D/C on Wednesday, 1st time in there, went all-in UTG with 775 chips left...had AJ

    CL called with A2 ( A was a diamond )

    Hit 4 diamonds straight out, with a poxy J on River to rub it in....

    Got my second batch of 2k, BB and got K7, checked to see flop....flop came 778....happy days.....checked flop....6 on turn...I bet 200..called...raised by guy to my right to 1.2k...I go all-in 1.6k....he calls.....shows A7......I'm off home!

    So for an online only player in my opinion you get bad luck/beats any where live or online.....I have played live twice this week...better fun....played FITZ & SE.......

    Ray ;)
