Bruce Almighty...

    ...on telly last night.

Unwatchable. Excrutiating. Carrey at his Cable Guy/Liar Liar worst excesses, as opposed to his Dumb and Dumber funny excesses. Shocking.

I enjoyed it. Also loved Steve Carrell in it.

Not a great film but it does have some brilliant moments. Like when the character Evan is reading the news and Bruce makes his voice go high pitched and stuff. Childish but still oh so funny.

Painful stuff. It's so cliched and by the numbers I'm suprised it wasn't written by a computer with a set of 'sure fire success' variables.

Don't know how they managed to get Carrey, Aniston, Carrell and Freeman involved but can you imagine if it were someone else? This film's success was down to the apparent quality of the misguided 'stars' in it, and nothing more.

It was just light entertainment, enjoyable enough.

    Good news guys!

I thought it was enjoyable. Really had its moments, as someone mentioned above when Jim Carey made Carell read the news in a high pitched voice.

That could be better actually. Probably not but at least it's moving on from Carrey's character. There was a bit to much self parody on his part in Bruce Almighty (sick of being known as the 'wacky' guy).

I thought this film was alright, not Carrey's best, but had a few good laughs in it. Aniston used her vast acting range to slip into the role of Rache..Grace sorry, God, that woman truly is a credit to the art of acting...

It’s one of many Jim Carey films I love, he’s a great performer, great film.

I don't like Carey much anyway, but there were a few laughs in the movie to be fair...:)

I enjoyed it. It wasn't brilliant but a fair 90 minutes. Cable Guy on the other hand was genius... Rewatch it sometime, it was way ahead of it's time in terms of modern comedy.
