unconfirmed Paypal shipping addresses

    Hi ,

    I just bought a wireless router from someone on eBay. They said they wont ship to an unconfirmed Paypal shipping address (its my work address)

    I did some thing on paypal of paying 1.50 to get confirmed, apparently i get a 4 digit number on my CC bill and i enter it into Paypal to get verified.

    Am i not allowed to change my shipping address from my house to my work address ?

    Paypal is a pain .

    Any advice is great

    Should't be a problem at all.

    I've had things delivered to me at work, and just changed the delivery address in Pay Pal when I'm filling in.

    Not sure, but its feck all to do with the seller, as to where its posted. Unless he/she states somethng in their sale saying the will only post to PayPall address blah blah.

    I always get stuff shipped to an unconfirmed address it works fine!

    It's fine but some ebay sellers rewquire a confirmed address and you have to do what 'grahamor' just said. I had to do it a while back and had to wait for my cc bill to come for ages.

    Sellers lose protection if they ship to an unverified address. That being said I get everything shipped to work but it could be a case that your seller got stung and isn't taking any chances...

    Some sellers will only ship to confirmed addresses - something to do with Paypal insurance etc. However, the last time I looked (long time ago, so may not apply now), you could only verify addresses outside the US and not confirm them (there seems to be a difference!). Doesn't usually seem to be a problem though.
