Disney Channels off Sky World bonus

hi folks,

I have the Disney Channels as part of the my Sky World bonus (Irish Sub) and woke this morning to find the "Call 0044.... to upgrade" screen on all their channels.

I know theres a change involving them supposedly going FTA with a new subscription channel CineMagic but I didn't think they'd go completely.

Does anyone else have this problem this morning?

Is there a new subscription fee and is anyone aware of the cost?

I ran Sky, early this morning, and they were unaware of any changes, whats new!

Any help would be great,

Disney channels are now part of the or what was the "Family Pack", you no
longer have to sub to movie channels to get disney. toon disney is being replaced with cine magic which kicks off at 11am this morning.

thanks for the reply,

moving Disney to the "Family pack" is good news for us folk with kids but surely the change would be seamless, I mean, I've lost all disney and have an "call 0044 .... to upgrade" screen on these channels, though I'm on Sky World

Maybe its just a consequence of the switch over!? but I hope its not going to be an additional sub

Disney Channel, Disney +1 and Playhouse are still showing for me, toon has
message on screen saying changes from 11am. 611 Disney 612 Cinemagic
613 Cinemagic 614 Playhouse.

There is no family pack anymore.. Just 6 different "mix packs". So which mix pack is Disney in the Kids?

I used to have a family pack years ago. but last time I renewed I got two mix packs.

Are you sure your not on the DisnCinemagic channel when you see that message?

Im on the old Sky Sports World package with the disney channels as a €5 extra subscription a month.Will I now have a fiver off my monthly bill?

you will probably receive the Cinemagic channel instead

No your disney subscription will stop. They can't just decide to charge you for a different channel.

Positive, all my disney channnels have the "0044" screen.

I rang Sky again, CS said its because of the change over but normal service should resume about 11am, I'm at work at the moment so can't check.

CS also said Disney & Playhouse to kids mix free with Cinemagic as the new bonus or as a standalone sub.

I note that if I select Kids on Guide menu it tells me I have no programs of that type. (Obviously POP and Tiny POP don't count).

A quick check of other categories suggest that a few channels are indeed only in "All Channels" (or favorites) and missing from any category.
