Ok I live in Spain, and was home in Ireland Cork, last weekend

    Ok
    LOST Season 1 HMV- 80 euro , FNAC/El Corte Ingles Spain-45 Euro
SOPRANOS (most seasons) HMV 86 Euro, FNAC/El Corte Ingles 36-40 Euro
Simpsons HMV 70 euro!!! JOKE FNAC/El corte ingles 44 euro

    List goes on........

Mind you in fairness there are some great deals in Ireland for DVDs like
the 3 for 30 etc, but not for seasons/series.

Its what the market will bear sadly. The Spanish market won't take €80-100 for box sets.

Its a sad state of affairs when they price an item according to the way the market will "take" it. In otherwords those silly Irish will pay anything, so lets jack up the price accordingly.

If only we had some mass communications system that we could use to look for better deals in other countries and shops and then get them to send them to us. ........

    If only ;)

Yes you can ignore the higher costs of insurance, wages, tax etc.. It is obviously nothing to do with any of that.
